Tek is from our first litter, the Song Litter, and he was actually supposed to be named Caledonia’s Sweet Caroline.  See, my plan all along was to keep a girl but this little guy stole my heart at just 3 weeks old and it wasn’t long before I realized he wasn’t leaving.

Tek inherited his mom Tessie’s wonderful smile and gentle disposition.  He is so fun to have around and always making me laugh.  Our first adventure in Field work landed him with a 1st place win in the Puppy Stakes at just 4 months old.  And at his first dog show, he took a 4pt Specialty Major Reserve from the 6-9 Puppy Class.  He has since been awarded a Puppy Group 1 and is now an AKC Champion. He has earned his Working Certificate from the Golden Retriever Club of America and the Junior Hunter title from AKC.  Tek and I have started working on Rally & Competition Obedience.  He has earned his Beginner Novice title and completed his Rally Novice with 3 First Place finishes and 2 perfect scores. He is such a joy to train.

His accomplishments have earned him the Versatility Certificate from the Golden Retriever Club of America.  An honor I am very proud of.
