As of right now, we have no litter plans for 2020 or 2021. Feel free to follow us on Facebook
for information on any future plans.
Please check out the local clubs’ litter and breeder referral pages to locate a reputable breeder.
Is Caledonia Goldens a good fit for you?
Having a good relationship is one of the benefits of working with a reputable breeder. I always tell my potential families that you are getting ME along with your new puppy. I will do my best to educate everyone on puppy raising, behavior, health issues, nutrition, etc. Not just at the time you pick up your puppy but for the entire life of your dog. I feel a huge responsibility for the lives I bring into this world and I do not take that responsibility lightly.
I have high expectations of the puppy families too. I expect them to keep in touch, share photos, health records, training challenges, accomplishments, etc. I expect them to give their puppies appropriate socialization and training; follow my advice on food, immunizations, and exercise; and I ask that all my puppies get eye exams by a board certified ophthalmologist every 1-2 years once the reach a certain age (see the Health Page
for more info on Pigmentary Uveitis)
All Caledonia Goldens are AKC registered and registered names follow the particular litter theme.
If you are interested in a puppy from one of our future litters, please fill out our Puppy Questionnaire. Please note it may take some time for me to get back to you. Having a litter of puppies takes up an incredible amount of time which impacts my response time. And if I don’t have a litter in the works, it could take me some time to research some options for you before I respond. NOTE: There has been a large demand for Golden Puppies since spring of 2020. If I do not respond to your request, it may be that I do not have any breeders/litters with availability to recommend at this time. I suggest you contact the local club breeder referral contacts listed above. If you are still interested in a Caledonia puppy down the road, feel free to fill out the questionnaire and note that you are willing to wait.
I realize Caledonia Goldens may not be a great fit for everyone and since we only have a litter every few years, timing or puppy availability may be an issue. If so, I have listed some references below as to how to go about finding a reputable breeder in the area.
